I got a few sacs from last weekend that weren't big enough to fillet, what's the best way to freeze them without the fins poking holes in the bags?

Are milk jugs with the top cut out still the best option?

I put the bags into a crawfish tray so if they leak it catches the water.

I don't have any milk cartons.

Why not just take the fins out?

We always take the fins out of fish we are frying whole.

If you are frying them fresh, then ok leave them in.

If you are going to complain about putting holes in your ziploc bag, take them out.

I Always cut the head off and gut it. Then use a steel brush and the hose pipe to clean the scales off. Then pack them in a gallon zip lock with water.

Then butterfly them before you fry them up

Either you are really bad with a knife or you kept something that is way to small. If something is to small for me to fillet then I could likely fry the whole thing and eat it bones and all!
