Best time to buy shotgun shells for a discount?

I'm looking to stock up on some remington hypersonic or hevi shot heavy metal shells for next duck season. Shouldn't there be some sweet deals coming up online soon?

Well, since we are on the topic of shotgun shells. What's everyone's go to shell? I'm new to duck hunting, but have figured out that 2 3/4" Walmart shells don't have the punch that some of the higher priced shells have

kent 3" #3 or #4. i learned a long time ago that the MOST important thing in selecting your shells is to get the pattern on the bird, ie go pattern the gun with good chokes then practice, practice, practice

Sweet. I had a few good hunts this year shooting remington hupersonics, but they kick like a mule. Damn near knocked me out of the duck boat. Haha and I weigh 215.

I never see these priced any lower than what they are during the season. Best to buy them by September though because of demand.
