Banged up my scope this evening, need a replacement tomorrow morning, ready by tomorrow evening. I'm looking for the best low-light performance I can get in a 3-9 x 50 for about $150 or less. It's for a .270 and I haven't taken a shot over 150 yards where I hunt, if that makes a difference.

Any recommendations appreciated.

if you can go $200, i would look at redfield revenge. it is leuphold's starter. also simmons is bushnell's.

I'm with Bayou. Redfield makes excellent scopes for the money. Especially now that Leupold owns them.

Thanks, Bowie in Natchez and Concordia pawn and guns in Vidalia are listed as dealers.

The shops will bore-sight, right?

i think redfield makes the best cheap scopes.

i actually got mine at wal mart. it was priced wrong. really, really wrong. im talking decimal was in the wrong place and i saved 90%. best deal i've ever gotten. and the reason i check out walmart's outdoors section in the summer now

I'm not where I can right now, but I believe Redfield has a $30 mail in rebate if you purchase by the end of the year.

bought one last year to get a rifle ready to hunt and i was having trouble finding the scope I wanted. Quit looking after I used it. Nice scope IMO.

Try Sportcenter across from walmart. Ask for Chip. He will get you hooked up

I've got a bushnell elite 4200 I might part with for around that price. It's a 3-9x40 though. Great scope, just upgraded.

Check out A1optic online. I have two of them and have been very happy with them, one is a 3-12x50 and the other is a 4-16x50, the bigger one is comparable to a Nikon monarch I have. You will probably have to order from online, they are usually less than $120 with free shipping.
