I've got two WorkSharps, original and Ken Onion Edition. The KO version with the accessory kit to run the 18" belts is the way to go. Belts last forever and you can get aftermarket leather stropping belts you can run compound on. Use that setup for all my pocket knives and kitchen knives that don't require water stones. For those I use Norton combination and Shaptons. Use the smaller WorkSharp with the coarse belt for axes and lawn mower blades.

Used to be an Arkansas guy until finding japanese water stones. Does the same job but much faster.

I have the worksharp ken onion addition and it is butter. My knives are scary sharp. It takes a couple of times to figure out the details but overall it is super easy to use and puts serious edges on blades. +1 from me.
