Looking to buy 2-3k rounds. I've used American Eagle in the past w/ no issues. I can't remember where I ordered it from however as its been several years

thanks in advance,

I buy Wolf Gold when I can find it under .30/rd.

Gunbot.net is your friend.

Just keep an eye on SlickGuns for deals to pop up. You can sign up with your email to alert you when the ammo you are looking for falls below a certain price.

It's good stuff, and generally what I stock, but it's tough to get it, at least anything other than "loose" packed for less than 45 to 50 cents a round.

Lots of folks love Wolf for bulk. I would assume that if you're forewarned, you're forearmed. I don't think there's anything inherently "wrong" with it, just obviously not my first choice which is absolutely, no question about it, non-corrosive and brass cased.

Slickguns and Ammoseek are the tools I use for "alerts" and "on demand" ammo purchases, respectively.

I just got 1000 rounds from them as well at $0.32 per round shipped.

Wolf Gold is brass, unless I misunderstood what you are saying.

No, I got you - I'm just becoming aware of Wolf Gold, and I get there are some good prices on it, as well. My old bias is what we "used" to think of Wolf - it is what it is. I've never stocked much of it, never shot much of it. It's never given me any particular problems, but the old stuff always gave me at least a little pause.

I'm actually considering trying some Wolf Gold in the near future.

$329.79 at cheaper than dirt. It might be cheaper after shipping depending on your location.

edit: shipping is actually free.

Wolf Gold has tested just as well as Federal and American Eagle in regards to advertised pressures, velocity, and performance. Reloadable brass casing, sealed primer, sealant on the 55 grain round itself, there really is the best value in terms of performance and price on the market
