Looking for one to use on the farm. 20 inch 60cc read
reviews on Husqvarna 460 and some Stihls looking to spend around $500. Any suggestions or any other brands
i have two Poulans Pro not happy with them.

MS391 or a MS362. 362 is a Pro-grade saw but will probably have the best power for CC and you can get a wrap handle option for it. Going to pay more than $500 for either though. Any good 60cc-65cc saw will be hard to get for $500, Makita from a Home Depot maybe if you get a discount.

Stihl MS311 is probably your best bet in that price range.

Stihl MS311 retails for $499.95. Comes with a 20" bar and is more than most anyone will ever need. If you don't mind spending $100 more, get the ms391 which will give you the option of running a 25" bar.

I've spent a bunch of time on one of those with a 20" bar. You'll be happy with it. It's a very good farm saw.

For farm use, I would buy a Stihl.

That's the one my wife bought me for Christmas. I absolutely love it. I got a shite ton cut this winter with it and never had the first issue.

I have a Stihl 660 magnum with about 7000 hours on it. Zero problems other than wearing out many chains.

Just bought one, of course i had to try it out, it started in couple of pulls cut down a tree that's been
bugging me, had it down and cut up in 15 minutes.

I was very happy how it cut through the tree fast and smooth. But at 90 degrees outside I gonna have to get an early start before i cut anymore.

Get a Husky 365 or Jonsered 2166 (same engine, think GMC & Chebbie) and never look back. Pro grade saw, last for years, and lots of power to pull a 20, 24, or 28 bar on occasion. Just make sure you have a shop tune it properly.

Stay away from the home owner grade saws such as Husky 460 or Stihl 390/1

Those are $800 saws. OP doesn't need logging equipment.
