I need to look into getting a bed liner for my truck.
What does everyone prefer? Spray In, Installed In, etc?
Best place in BR to get one?

I have a spray in. I have had both but I like the spray in better. In the installed bedliner everything would slide around.

I like the old style installed plastic liners then cut a rubber mat to fit the bed. Idk I just never have liked the spray in.

Bought a 14 Sierra from the same dealer as you. Have them take it to CSC for a spray in. Capitol should do it for free for you. They did mine at least.

I'm the opposite. I prefer the installed bedliner. I like the ability to drag things out of my bed easily. Spray-ins make it hard to slide things around and scratch up. I would rather just tie things down I don't want to move and still be able to slide things easily if I want.

Drop ins will destroy your paint.
I prefer the factory paint or a rubber bed mat.

I have had Line-X on three of my trucks. The one with Rhino wore out and the dealership I bought it from just put a plastic liner in it. If you get plastic, your shite will always be sliding all over the place. Line-X holds just about everything still

CSC for a spray in
Uses armadillo liner... It fades in a year. Very durable, do not put in a new truck.
Linex with the UV guard if you want someone to do it.
Monstaliner if you wish to do it yourself.
Don't do a drop in without bedlining under it. It wears through the paint and then causes rust.
Best is rhino, then an installed bedliner, then a rubber mat. It's very quiet and works well. But it is HIGH doing all three.

It's all in how you negotiate and once you sign the line negotiations are over.
OP Spray in, drop ins are as outdated as a sliding back glass.

Nice truck. I own the same one.
I put a bed rug in mine and have zero regrets.

Same here.
Always had installed bedliners in my trucks until my current Sierra came with spray-in. I love it.

I have stuff in there that would stain a carpet right now. Old brake rotor, two rusty exhaust manifolds, one chain, a tire covered in brake dust. Do you take it out when you have stuff like that?
Posted on 4/7/15 at 12:42 pm to Hammertime
Nope it stays in. Ive had manifolds and rotors both in there. Ive spilled my weedeater gas in there last week along with some vegetable oil for a fish fry. Just hose it out with a hose.
I got tired of having shite slide around back there. The carpet holds it in place. I realize its not for everyone but it works for my needs.

No suggestions on dealers. I haven't had one sprayed since 1998 and it was a Line-X and it's still going strong. But for what it's worth there's no need to be worried about rushing out and getting it sprayed to keep from scratching your truck bed up. Let it get a few scratches first because they going to sand blast or grind the paint to bare metal before they spray it anyway.

I have the same truck (more or less) and had a rhino pro sprayed in. Looks really good and has held up well.
