If travelling by boat from Falgoust Marina to Grand Pass area, is it faster to take Bayou Dularge all the way or go around through Lake Decade and Lake Mechant. On the map, it is a much shorter trip to stay in Bayou Dularge all the way, but will the no wake zones actually make the trip take longer? BTW, my boat will usually fit under the draw bridge at Fisherman's Retreat so I would not have to wait for them to open it.

Have a houseboat/camp in Falgousts Marina. Otherwose I would just tow the boat down to Jugs.

It takes way too much longer to go down Dularge. You have to slow down due to no wake zones and boats tied up ( go fast and be prepared for bullets to fly).
I have a camp on the Falgoust canal and if I am headed to grand pass or sister lake or the gulf - it is faster to trailer your boat to the landing at Jugs.
