bayou corne water level advice

Has anyone been to the bayou corne launch or have experience with it
I sometimes bring my kayak here but my issue is driving all the way out there and the water being really high/muddy.
which water level gauges should I look at to help determine what it will be like?

speaking of, I assume that sink hole has stopped growing?

To answer your question I dont really know. We always passed over it when heading to Pierre Part, and if the fishing was super bad we would sometimes come back to bayou corne if the water looked good when passing over
