Bald Eagle sighting in Livingston Parish

Took this photo the other day coming home from fishing. In the huge dead cypress on hwy 22 right by Clio Bridge in Maurepas.

I know exactly where your talking about. I saw one 4 years ago while driving on hwy.63 not far from 444. It flew down landed right beside the road and flew off. I could see it clear as day. I've lived here my whole life and the only other one I've seen in this area is right before Katrina. Now I've seen plenty on the water ways.

I see them often on the Diversion, not sure if I have ever seen more than one.

Seen several the last few years in South MS and along the coast.

Gone from Holy shite to thats pretty cool. And thats a good thing because they are awesome just not rare.
