Bait for crawfish pillow traps

Can yall help me find a place to get bait for traps. been told about some kind of dough balls. Thanks!

I would use pogeys or the purina formula baits.

i use my own recipe, but i'd use belt melt if i didn't

the more freezer burnt, the better...

I like pogey....holds up much better than melt. I can't imagine melt being good in traps due to the fact once the blood is gone, the bait is done.

find someone cleaning a few fish and use the fishheads for bait...

Let us know how many snakes you kill using beef melt.

Not a good idea. Use shad/pogie/ or the artificial stuff.

Melt is good for set nets
