The Wolves Are Attacking, And The Sheep Are Disarming!
Posted this on the poli board but I know a lot of you don't luke there
quote:
Howard Stern said no gun control laws could have prevented what happened in Orland
“I’m so upset about Orlando and what went down, but I can’t believe these people who come out afterwards and their answer to Orlando is to take away guns from the public,” Stern said. “It’s fricking mind-blowing to me.”
“The military — and they don’t mean it in a derogatory way — but they look at the public as sheep,” he said. “And we are sheep. Most of us sit around all day and we don’t know how to defend ourselves. We basically think everything’s OK.”
“Except the wolves — the bad guys, ISIS, or terrorists, homegrown or otherwise — their wolves. The military and police look at themselves as sheepdogs. They’re warriors, but on the good side.”
“The terrorist all have AR-15s, they have glocks, they have every kind of pistol.”
“Now what if I went up to the sheep and I said, ‘You wanna have a shot at the wolves? I’m going to give you a pistol. You can actually even the playing field with these wolves whose fangs are out — you can shoot them.’ There’s not a sheepdog for every citizen.”

I listen everyday
He provided the absolute perfect rebuttal scenario as well this morning
in my words, but this was his argument

What's the most gun free place in the world? I'm talking has the absolute most stringent gun laws. A single gun pretty much does not even exist in this place. Gun's according to this place are a fabrication of imagination. There is no way to get one, legally, or illegally there.
And yet, the most significant terror attack in US history happened in this place. How did it happen? The terrorists used box cutters.
This place is a commercial airplane.

Let me ease on over there and see what they have to say about this.

I listen to his show almost everyday. He has always been an advocate for gun rights. Pretty sure he shoots as a hobby from time to time.

I listen to Stern daily. He is definitely pro gun, but is also pro Hillary. Does not compute

I don't think he is pro Hillary. I have heard him make the same complaint I always do
"This is the best we can do!?!" Talking about the choices we get stuck with

You sure about that, I know Trump would call into his show occasionally. Would be cool if Trump is elected and calls into Sterns show.

Stern is a bit of a mystery to me politically. He is extremely rational on gun rights, racial stuff, terrorists, and especially Israeli issues and massive anti semitism from the left, but he seems to routinely vote Democrat in the last few elections.
I would say he's really a Libertarian especially as much gay marriage support he had, but it's like he doesn't understand the people he votes for oppose overwhelmingly his views… bizarre.

Does not compute.
I listen to him fairly regularly too and I've heard him say things along the lines of "it's time for her to be POTUS". I do agree with his views on guns though.
