Area with September hunting/partying- TX? Mexico?

Got a buddy getting married in September. Were thinking Labor day might be a good weekend for the bachelor party. He wants to do some hunting of some sort, which I think would be pretty cool. Only things I know that are a possibility in Sept are dove and hog. Anyone know of any places where we may be able to do some hunting on a Friday and be reasonable distance from Austin or any other party city on Saturday?

You can hog hunt year round in Texas. Send him on one of the helicopter hog hunts or some night time night vision or thermal imaging hunting.

You should be able to find hogs at a local watering hole in Austin. I don't see why you want to drive out of town.
