I guess if you're looking to carry with a shirt tucked in, this could be an option. That leather belt loop is kinda weird, though.

It would be mostly for carrying while working so my shirt would be tucked

Didn't recognize the name and clicked on the site. I guess the ad will be on my phone all the time now. It's already on my laptop every time I'm on TD's.

Wtf is that thing? Holster makers are getting like "custom knife makers." Everyone with a garage can start a little shitty business

No offense, but:

1. I don't know where these "belly band clones" come from. But irrespective of the name, junk = junk.

2. Why is every T, D & H so fixated on "comfort?" To quote Clint Smith, "Carrying a gun isn't supposed to be comfortable. it's supposed to be comforting."

Comfort should be way down the list of priorities in picking a gun or a holster. Pick a gun that's (a) reliable and (b) one you can shoot well.

Pick a holster that (a) covers the trigger, (b) holds the gun securely, and (c) keeps the gun accessible under all circumstances/contortions/conditions.

Then follow Bianchi's Law: "Carry the same gun, in the same holster, in the same place, all the time." If you ever need it, you'll be able to instinctively reach it.

Keep it simple.

Just my $.02

I disagree. Comfort is important. If you're not comfortable, you're not going to want to wear it.

Agreed although my alien gear is comfortable to me and checks all his boxes to IMO.

I'd agree I'd be hesitant to buy the Urban Carry without trying it with my gun first.

I understand, and agree.

I'm not saying anyone should gear up with some that's seriously uncomfortable. But there seems to be a whole generation (not referring to you) that wants a magical gun & holster rig that they won't even feel when they carry.

I carry a G19 in an OWB (Comptac) holster all day, every day. Do I know it's there ? -- sure. But I'm used to it. I can tell it's on my hip, but it isn't "painful" and it doesn't bother me.

The times when I feel uncomfortable are when I don't//can't carry because I'n in a NPE.

I guess I'm saying (based on talking with a lot of students) that too many people pick a tiny gun because they're not willing to try carrying a "full size" gun and adapting to the feel of carrying it.

I (along with just virtually everyone else) shoot a "full size" gun better than I can shoot a mouse gun. So my redneck logic tells me to "Get used to it," instead of automatically assuming I have to limit my CCW options to a "baby sized" pistol.

Again, just my $.02

Thank you for your post. At Urban Carry we are aware of this from the first production of the holster. The leather we use is genuine saddle grade leather and can be stiff the first few days. At one point there was a batch that was stiffer than normal and didn’t grip the gun as well for the first 3-4 days of use. Once broken in though by wearing the holster for a few days the leather molds to the firearm providing the necessary retention. With the leather broken-in and your retrieving hand in position to retrieve the firearm you'll find it very easy to draw.

If you order on our site UrbanCarryHolsters.com you are welcome to try it yourself for a month risk free, if it doesn’t work for you just send it back, no problem. We truly believe it’s important for most Americans to carry every day, unfortunately due to concealment or comfort issues many do not. We wanted to overcome that issue. You’ll likely find with the Urban Carry it is surprising comfortably, completely concealed and very easy to draw.

Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions, also on a separate note take a look and share our recent video on Gun Rights LINK - Holster opinions aside here we can all agree to push back against gun control. Thank you!

Couldn't agree with you more.

I was in the same frame of mind until I challenged myself to carry a bigger pistol. Now I'm just used to it.
