Anyone know if a metal detector will detect single steel BBs?

Trying to figure out a way to make 100% sure I haven't missed any BBs when I'm cleaning ducks. TIA.

Get one of them super-strong space magnets. It'll rip those BBs right outta those ducks just like dat.

Garrett makes a great pinpointer.
It's a life safer on my digs.

Hell, all need a little extra iron in ones diet. And yes, kind of hard on ones teeth.

I once had a co worker bring in duck jerky. before I took a piece I asked him if I could sue him when I break a tooth on the steel bird shot. He said he checked every piece of jerky with a small metal detector, the ones designed to find staples and nails in wood. I don't hunt water fowl and I've never tried it before. But I see those small hand held metal detectors for $20-30 all the time.

The thought of biting into a duck bomb and crunching down on a steel pellet makes me cringe

Just take out the duck breast and make sure they have no BBs in them
