Shot a 7pt late this evening. Thought I was gonna die of heat exhaustion dragging him out of a creek bottom. Had a snake in my stand too. Good times.

Left LA after work. Just got to camp in hill country tx. 47 degrees now, but supposed to be 84 tomorrow afternoon. Wtf.

Raceland,LA hot and foggy. Had deer gallavanting around from 527-536 but couldn't see shite. Neighbor killed a nice 10 or Wednesday morning.

I'll be out there with a thermocell and bottle of water haha. Only reason I'm going is because my bro in law invited me to go to North LA with him to his family's land. Ive been once, and they definitely have deer up there, so I wasn't gonna pass up the chance to get brown down.

That was his first buck. He called his girlfriend after he killed it crying his arse off. Probably never kill one like that again. I had a shitty looking spike pass my stand earlier. Couldn't see good with the fog

Would normally be going rain or shine, but going to
Dallas to do part of the Christmas thang. Glad I'm not missing a cold weekend.

Left the farm at 10 to go to another property across town. Talked to the neighbor to let him know I was gonna hunt in case he hears a shot and he insists on showing me where one of the other neighbors put out a feeder. We don't get 50 feet into the woods when up jumps the biggest buck I've seen in quite a while, laughs at me for being a dumbass and not bringing my gun, and darts off in the opposite direction. frick my life.
