I do. My Pawpaw gave it to my Momo and she gave it to me.

Thanks, although it may be the female precursor to the judge. It shoots .22 short, long and long rifle.

I need to randomize my .22 ammo in the cylinder and shoot it to see what happens.

I need to start shooting it. I have kept it in the closet too long, purely for sentimental reasons.

Have you fired all the different rounds that it is capable of discharging?

Comments appreciated.

Mine looks even more old-fashioned than that. It's an H&R and you have to pull the cylinder out to reload. Still shoots great, though.

Yours with the box is real heirloom

You pull the stem out of the front of the cylinder to drop the wheel on mine.

She gave it to me in the box. It makes me wonder if it has even ever been fired.

The wheel on the old H&R's (and other similar brands) isn't a "swing-out" hinge as advertised on your box. You pull the stem and the cylinder just comes out of the frame completely. It has a small notch where you could load an empty cylinder with a cartridge, but to extract the spent shells, you have to pull the cylinder out completely.

Gotcha.

Mine does swivel out. I didn't realize cylinders completely dropped out.

9 shot?

Got one just like it, but mine has the ivory looking handles. Shoots good, buy cheap stuff to plink. Doesn't make a difference. My kids 12 and 9 love shooting it. I buy a brick of 22 ammo cheapest I can find and we blow through it
