Well it is off the ground so that makes the painting tougher. And I want this to last as it is a camp/shooting house. Paint of OSB and a mix of plywood isn't what I want to leave exposed to the elements.

Tougher than hanging vinyl flooring on it?

It will look good if you pick a vinyl color/pattern that will really make the patina on the tin roof pop.

Yeah my wife watches to much HGTV

Wouldn't moisture get behind the vinyl?

Wagner sprayer ftw.

Why even worry about the outside of a deer stand? I've never painted, much less vinyl floored the side of a deer stand, in my life. The deer will get used to a stand about 2 days after it is there. Anything other than putting it up disturbs the area even more, not to mention the additional smell.

So what will you do to camouflage the vinyl color/pattern and the glare? Paint it?

I asked the wife and she said you should go to Waco, TX and get you some ship-lap.

Don't know what that is, but I bet it's marine grade.

Put the vinyl SIDING on today. Really a bee-yatch doing it by myself. It is far from professionally done but as long as it sheds the water then that is all I need.

Hanging siding is harder than painting but it is something that I shouldn't have to do again.

This is a shooting house/camp. I will have a small solar panel like my other shooting house/camp. This one is 8'X7'.

12 Volt Electric, propane bottle for heat (outside), camp stove for cooking and stocked with canned food and drinks, and a urinal!!! Oh and a small makeshift bed.
