Nice people there.They'll bring you out to the launch and pick you up when you're finished.

how long does it take to paddle down to the lake....was hoping to maybe find a lil sandy beach area around the mouth of the bayou to pull up to and eat, chill, and fish a lil

I've done it a couple of times. Great little paddle. Huge Osprey nest right above you about halway down and lots of small alligators the closer you get to the Lake. No idea how long it took. Some things, you don't need a watch for.

I've done it. Launched at the bridge at 190 right by the bait shop at corner of lake road. There was a serious headwind once we turned south and made the trip suck but it'd be a nice trip otherwise. Took us about 4 hours I think.
