When do they produce fruit? This one is 3-4 years old. Looks great but so far...no pinapple.

The pineapple is in the ground like a carrot. Better dig it soon or it will get tough.

Pretty sure it grows a bloom on a stalk on top and you cut that stalk and leave the whole plant intact to harvest the fruit.

I've grown a few but you have to be patient. Most times they'll produce in 2-3 years. But had one for 6 years before it produced. Your plant looks healthy enough it just takes time.

I’ve grown a bunch of them. Better put a cage or something around them, critters love them.

I have a "pineapple plantation" in pots. I grew them from the discarded tops of the DelMonte Gold. I usually get two a year, but this year I got four. I allow them to ripen on the plants and they are sweeter than honey.

Give it some miracle grow, put in full sun, water daily. Greenhouse it in winter.

They take forever. Have three going right now.

Yours should start producing the fruit shortly.

Well it was suppose to be the former. But it looks like most believe the latter. Or at least I hope that's the case as I'd rather be an idiot than humorless.
