Anyone ever found a dove field for lease?

Have been looking for one ever since our family land was sold with no luck. Have tried calling a few who had fields for lease for hay but they were either to close to houses or they didn't want anyone hunting on them.

These are akin to duck leases; if you find one, you don't want it typically.

Yep. Gotta find out who leases or owns the good land and figure out a way to work into being friends with them.

Not sure the laws in Louisiana as far as how large the land has to be to hunt but you can buy 10-15 acres for pretty cheap, I'd think you'd be better off doing that honestly. I mean a lease is going to be at least $1000 I'd think, I don't know why someone would mess around for less than that but maybe you can get it for a couple hundred? I'm just saying I see 10-15 acres for sale for $10-15k regularly.
