It is my sons and he told me that there is a spring in it that is broke before he pass way. I am in need to find a gunsmith that knows what is what on these guns. It looks just like a AK-47. Russian made.

Have a pic of the spring fish? They’re pretty simple.

Trigger springs, recoil spring, and one under the take down button on the top of the receiver if I’m remembering correctly.

Bring it to Reynersons in Central. I'd give them a call first and bring it in

Thanks guys. I know nothing about this gun. I shot it only one time with my son. 30 round drum mag was fun to shoot. This gun is like new, not a scratch on it. Don't even know what he paid for it, nut I am sure a lot.

Got his AK-47 too. Don't know anything about it too. It needs to be clean. It has a night scope and he used it to hunt pigs at night. There is a good chance I will be selling them. I'm just not into shooting guns anymore. I don't even have it in me to hunt anymore. Maybe in another year I will with my grandson, IDK.

What kind of night scope is on it can you tell? Let's see some pics. Russian AKs are all banned from import now.

No pictures nor do I know what kind of night scope. Don't want to wake up the wife to look.

Didn't know they are ban. Are they league to own?

Just bust in and flip the lights on, what could go wrong no worries.

Yes legal to own. Just can't get them in any more.

Saiga S12 is a great shotgun. A pity we can't get them anymore. I remember them first coming into the country around $200. I would definitely keep that one. When you get it checked out, have the gunsmith verify if it was a "vodka job" by checking the gas port and making sure it was drilled correctly.

Talked to my daughter yesterday and her and SIL want the guns. They coming over today to watch the game and I will just give the guns to them. My son has 10 more that I am just going to give them to my grandson. I will keep just the Glock race .45 ACP. My son had a lot of money tied into it for race shooting.

By the way, how you and the family doing?
