Have to give back my loaner tri-tronics and had my eye on this model. Does anyone have any first hand experience

All I can tell you is Garmin and Tri-tronics have joined forces. The Garmin e-collars are relatively new.

yeah, I knew that. this one seems to have some great features, especially for the price point.
