Off tomorrow, going somewhere. Thinking about verret right now. Maybe a little bass fishing and get some crickets for some big bream. Anyone had any luck as of late?

would you recommend the canals or the main lake for bream and catfish? going saturday for the first time this year

That's the game plan. I'll probably throw for bass for a half hour early morning for shits and giggles then try to load up the boat with bluegill

canals for bream. find some of the old man made canals (maybe 200 yards long) that have pumping stations, etc.

My parents are there right now.... Bream fishing the canals south of Verret near grassy lake... I'll let you know how they do... I'm planning on going Friday.... Tomorrow looks like you might catch a wet arse

True. But I have rain gear and my boat could use a washing anyway. Plus some of my best days have been on and off rain
