Anybody caught any reds in western lake P

Towards the pass or in Maurepas lately?

I plan on trying this weekend weather permitting. Worried the water isn't salty enough though.

They are there; I won't divulge too much on areas info but I have caught a few that way for sure. Gar City too.

no. Not even close to the right conditions. Launched out of the Tchefuncte on Sunday. Everything on that side of the lake is very muddy and we didn't get a bite in the 4 hours we fished.

crappy tide this weekend. last weekend was good

I live on the tickfaw and suggest you go somewhere else for reds. It only gets good certain times of the year and it's early. Also need drought typically with strong S/SE winds.

There is so much freshwater from the floods on that side of the lake I wouldn't expect any to be there.
