Anybody Own/Try/Test the M&P M2.0

I don't really put much faith in Youtube pistol tests, nor in most online gun reviews, nor in gun magazines. But I'm curious/interested in the new M&P M2.0 -- so I did some searching.
I have a full sized M&P9, and a 9mm Shield, and I see M&P's come through my classes quite a bit. So when I saw the ads for the M2.0 describing a new "light, crisp trigger" I was (am) hoping that maybe this is a trigger that doesn't need an Apex kit.
A brief internet search didn't yield much. (Although the folks on the S&W Forum are already posting ways to polish & lighten the trigger.)
And I wasn't too surprised to see that APEX already has trigger parts/kits available for this pistol. LINK But I was surprised to see that Apex shows the "factory" trigger weight for the M2.0 to be about 6 pounds. I thought (apparently mistakenly) that the "original" M&P's (not the Shield) came with +/- 6 lb. triggers, and thus figured the new "light crisp" trigger would be well below 6 pounds.
Anybody have first-hand info on the M2.0 trigger weight ?

No actual numbers on the trigger pull weight but stopped by one the the lgs and they had two in stock. I gotta say I thought the takeup was a little gritty but the pull did feel decently crisp. Not apex level but better than original M&P. I've got to say the stippling was very grippy and intense but much too much for carrying.

I hate to admit to caring about the aesthetics of a pistol, but i do, and the M&P's are butt arse ugly and they got bounced from the military trials early despite partnering w/ General Dynamics. Plus S&W has some real periods of crap manufacturing and catering to the Clintons on so-called firearm safety. I still love their wheel guns of a certain era. Just not going to ever purchase that or the XD's. If i want another striker fired, I'm going to go Glock, H&K, or Walther.

RR,
Like you, I've had a really hard time getting over this.
