I need a pair of shades to wear while I get my costas repaired. All I saw at academy was garbage in the sub $200 price range. Anything decent out there for a decent price?

Calcuttas are good alternatives and are polarized. I buy them from Superior in BR. I've probably had half a dozen pairs in the last couple years.
About $30 a pair.

I'm in the same boat as you. I just bought a bargain bin pair. No sense on wasting more money on a pair of glasses that will become a back up pair that I hardly ever use. In fact, the last back up pair I had was given away.

Old military glasses, they come in different sizes.

I buy the ones with nice polarized glass lenses, but you can save some bucks by going with plastic. The lenses are replaceable, so you could pick up a pair of yellow shooting lenses and have these double for that once your plastic framed glasses come back in.
You can find them cheaper, once you figure out what you want.
