About 15 years ago I went on a charter trip for bass with Ronnie Grenier in Venice. I'm not sure if he is still chartering.

Check with Capt Charlie Thomason to see if he knows anyone specific to Venice.

I'd be willing to bet he does or get in touch with Don Dubuc

Smoked them today down river. Rising River doesn't matter. Only clean water and falling tide.

If you have a boat capable of going down river it's not too hard. Get some mini brush hogs in watermelon/June bug 1/4 oz weights and find delta duck on the map. Fish at low tide in the afternoon and kick their arse. The river rise will slow it down for a bit but it's been on fire. I do t fish bass down there much at all and we did very well one afternoon last week. If I can catch bass down there like then anyone can.

I'm trying to plan a overnight stay on the 23rd and all my friends keep backing out! If anyone wants to meet down there Saturday morning I'm in. I'll have room to fish 2 extra people.
