Another Reason to Get a Concealed Handgun Permit

If you have a 5-year Louisiana Concealed Handgun Permit issued on or after March 9, 2015, you can use it in lieu of the NICS background check when purchasing firearms in this state.

One of the biggest reasons I got mine in Texas. Nice that LA is doing this now.
