Second one in about a week. One big arse sow. My dog in the picture weights in a bit over 100lbs. The pig was an easy 200lbs.

Was just getting back from deer hunting and had my .270. Tryed to call my son to come in shoot it, but didn't get thru. My dogs were all over the trap and I though the pig was going to break out. That bitch wanted my arse in a bad way.

Looks like the last one in the trap, why is it leaking red stuff, sick or something?

No, he is a very layed back dog. I can put food in his bowl and it will sit all day. Eats when he wants to. Now my other shite is a chow hound. \\Oh, that dog in the picture is over 14 years old.

Not to much of a fan of fat. Already skin out in on ice. The head and hide would not fit in a 5 gallon bucket.

if you plan on making sausage you need the fat. if you want steaks and hams minimal fat is fine.

Just made a shite load of sausage from the last one. Thinking of spliting it in half to cook for New Years eve.

Went the very cheap way building my trap. Cost me about $5. Had the post, some concrete wire, some old hog wire and a gate. I will have to repair my trap. Them sucker rip it all up. I think it might make it thru one more traped pig. So, I baited it and reset it.

Problem is that I did make it about 16' across and set my trip wire almost to the back, but I'm only catching one pig at a time.
