Better operators than those dudes in the flooded ranger bass boat.

Haha I know the guy. He is very knowledgeable about offshore just only has a 22' xpress. He did put 4 tuna in the boat though.

That distance under the water conditions is very doable for that boat.

Good thing you haven't come across a 15' flat with 25 hp 10 nm out

I would have never guessed that was a 22'. The angle and distance just makes it seem small. We take a 23' bay boat 30 miles out in right condition so I can't hate on the guy. And to catching some tuna.

I just talked to him his buddy has GoPro footage so I'll try and get some pics from that. He said the four they caught weren't huge but keepers and he said they caught some Bonita. I'll update with pics when I get them

he just text me back, said they brought two yeti 110s. he said they weren't monsters so I guess you could fit them in two of those. he did send me a pic of a nice sized barracuda they caught

Only potential issue this time of year is the pop up storms, you get 15 miles out (which isn't a big deal in a bay boat) is getting around the storms, they can make 15 miles seem like 150 miles if you have to get back inland.

In for picks of the tuna. As said not that crazy, but not that smart either. You can definitely see the 2 coolers. I love how they said they weren't that big, because even a medium size tuna would not really fit in a yet 110.

Check out youtube videos of people that jetski from Miami to the Bahamas across the gulf stream. I think its around 40 miles to the closest island.
