Where can I get some Aluminum plate around town? Like 1/8" thick stuff. All the stuff at lowes/homedepot is too narrow.

I want to make a housing for my fancy new led flood/spotlight I just got. That way I don't destroy it first time out.

Am I the only one that was confused on why he'd be looking for an Alabama plate in Baton Rouge based on the title?

if you can't find any in BR, try Pierce Aluminum in Lafayette. I'll pick it up and bring it back to you if you want. You might have to meet me at LA415, tho. I don't go across the river unless its the weekend.

check with Brecheen Pipe & Steel in Brusly too.

I would contact an a fab shop and inquire about about some drop off pieces. That would be your best bet.

How much do you need?

If a 1x1 sheet would do, ordering would be cheap and easy.

Need to make a cover for a light, I plan to drop it off at a friend of a friends fab shop and see what it will cost.

In the end that will be the easiest way it gets done, I thought there might be an easy place I could go pick some up and bring it by another buddy's house to do.

If I have to order something I'll go drop it off.
