Advice on squash and eggplant
Posted by Babewinkelman on 4/30/16 at 8:24 am00
Planted yellow squash and eggplant too close to each other. Squash are taking over, and are full of flowers. Eggplants are fighting for light. Will I mess up my potential squash by cutting back a few of the leaves to let the eggplant get more sun?

Should be ok. Healthy squash plants get pretty big. I'm putting egg plant in the ground today. Waited till later this year. They like it hot

Depends on how many leaves you cut back...too many will stress it and make it shed blooms.
I personally would transplant the eggplant. Their root system is pretty small, so you can probably do it with one scoop of a shovel.
