Looking to book a trip or two. Anyone have experience with guides and/or the rivers in early summer?

Don't spend your money in californication. Go to Oregon instead.

I'll already be there. Oregon will have to wait. Lake Tahoe area is an option, too.

Trinity Alps. Streams of trinity alps
Unique mountain area of California that looks more like the North Cascades than any other mountains in the area.

Sounds great. I'll be based north of Ukiah , not too far south of the Trinity area.

Hey Otis. You considered striper fishing in the delta? A striper on a 8 weight rod is fun as hell. If you want some more details shoot me an email. The delta extends up north quite a ways and is a load of fun.

I read that they have Steelhead the area too(I thought they were exclusively farther north).
Also, I found this guide service in Tahoe. Looks like they catch some giants. Check out their FB page for some pics.
