Browsing through Academy today as I do overtime I want to kill time and money ... and noticed that they have Magellan Outdoors Roto Molded Coolers. Prices are very comparable to RTIC, yet you tend to get a little larger cooler for the same price.

Anyone bought and tested these out?

Magellan Outdoors Ice Box 25 $129.99 (RTIC 20 $124.99)

Magellan Outdoors Ice Box 50 $169.99 (RTIC 45 $174.99)

Magellan Outdoors Ice Box 75 $199.99 (RTIC 65 $199.99)

SORRY IF ALREADY POSTED ... I searched and didn't see anything

shite man, they'll all melt ice when you open the lid and get stuff out of it.

I bought one when they first came out because YETI is too expensive but I liked the concept for keeping drinks cold on a boat without needing as much ice. It works great and seems well made but the brown color gets hot in the sun. I'd much prefer a white one.

I have one of the larger ones and I really like it. Especially for the boat. The oversized drain plug is great to have
