A plea to maintain the integrity and community of the OB

with the new addition of the up/down voting thing I would like to propose that the OB collectively ignore this option. This is not a board based on popularity or clicks.
If you like a thread then visit it and participate in the discussion. If you dont like a thread/poster stay out of their threads and don't reply. The current system of threads falling in order based on number of replies seems to work very well.

i am assuming that soon, the like feature will only apply to the replies within a thread and push the highest "upvoted" reply to the top, such as how youtube does it. hopefully that is as far as it goes

I disagree with this new feature. It can corrupt our posting by making it so that we feel more self conscious about whats being posted. Liberal mindset has taken over. It's not fair to just call someone a German dickbag DIAF anymore. Voting this way will be bad for business.

There is no integrity on tigerdroppings. I started coming to this site about a year ago and it has gone downhill since I've been on. People don't take anything serious on here, hence the downvotes to the OP. There are a bunch of kids on here that don't have a life and don't have anything better to do than sit around on the interwebs all day and make smartass comments. They refer to one another like they're all best friends, but half of them have never even met! From time to time you get a decent thread with decent advice, but inevitably the kids are going to hijack the thread and try to start shite and troll. That's all tigerdroppings will ever be.
