An older car of mine is just blowing hot air. Not an everyday car, but summer is just about here in Vegas and need some cool air for when I need it. Don't want to throw money into it.

Just curious if anyone has had any success using this product. Or there are better ones on the market.

TIA

A relative of mine has used it, and said it lasted through last summer, so a couple of years. Not bad if you just have to use it every couple of years. And pretty simple to use.

I would think the one negative would be that there isn't a real way to purge the line of air before you install the refrigerant. So you would be introducing air into your system.

It will do fine as long as you don't have a leak or the system is contaminated with moisture and air.

Did your AC slowly die or did it just quit? If it died slowly, you may just need a recharge.

You can get a cheap set of gauges for a little more, and they will help you diagnose any potential problems

And remove the rest of the R134a from the system while he's figuring out the gauges...

If the vehicle is only down a bit then just get the A/C Pro can or a smaller can with a separate cold-side line and gauge. If you know this will be something you will do on a regular basis then get an OTC gauge set for $50.
