The old man is one of those people you look at one time and know they would screw you over in a second.

Reality TV star and multi-millionaire "Big Bill" Busbice was recently convicted of poaching an elk in Wyoming and attempting to cover it up by ordering his ranch hand to dispose of the carcass.

In order to combat these actions and help give back to elk conservation we're donating $10 to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation for every t-shirt sold. So step up to the plate, help conservation and don't be like Bill.

i know he sells products that he gives two shits about

At least Duck Commander calls make a sound when you blow on em. If Busbice sold them they would dissolve with moisture

Official apology

quote:

Statement by Bill Busbice
Last October, I inadvertently shot a female calf elk while attempting to shoot a bull elk. To make matters worse, I left the scene and failed to report the incident to the warden. The failure to immediately notify the warden was horrible judgement on my part, and for that, I was fined, placed on probation, and lost my privilege to hunt.

To be clear, the shot was an accident, and while the failure to report my mistake was inexcusable, I have never and would never intentionally poach. This incident is not reflective of who I am as an outdoorsman. I have spent over 40 years speaking out against poaching and will continue to do everything I can to rebuild trust with the outdoor community.

I am deeply sorry for what I did and I am aware that I breached the trust of my fellow hunters in the process. I have accepted the consequences of my mistake and hope everyone will forgive my lapse in judgement.
Respectfully,
Bill Busbice

Pretty f'n weak IMO

"To be clear, the shot was an accident," to be clear, we all need to be better than that kind of "accident"

Agreed that was weak....The shot was an accident but the coverup wasn't. I'm sure anyone that will do an act like that and then have his peons cover it up has probably done quite a few other shady things in the outdoors. All the smoke from the North LA people about the shady way he acquired his 50K acres seems to hold more weight to me now.

The comments under the link you posted are spot on.....

One comment from a guy in Wyoming asked him to stay in Louisiana.

And a reply to that was "I live just a few miles from where he does his show here in louisiana, I can promise you lots of folks around here don't want him here either!"

see what greed brings? I know these assholes aren't gonna be going to life of poverty and will still be doing better than 99% but a little discomfort is well deserved
