Found this posted over on the hull truth and thought i would share. Interactive map showing rigs within the 9 nautical mile LA state waters boundary. Rigs in red are ok to fish rigs in green are outside the boundary. Big question is if any of the rigs south of Cocodrie actually have red snapper as it is still really shallow. interactive rig map

Probably a better chance of some monster trout at those Ship Shoal rigs but i will definitely be writing some of these platforms down to give a shot later this summer.

Really hoping the winds lay down for the 9 day federal season. Got my spots picked out just waiting on weather forecasts to schedule my vacation

We're going to try running out 10 or so miles on Tuesday. Will be in a 21ft nautic star though, so if it's over 2ft seas it'll just have to turn into a spec trip.

Thanks for the link

I will be in search of the snaps Sunday and Monday. Saturday looks like a trout day with the high winds.
