Took another solo trip to Reggio Thursday, fished from 9am - 1:30pm. Caught 19 reds, 15 on top water, 4 on spinner baits. Most were bigger than I like to keep, but I managed to keep a limit between 22" and 24". I usually don't like keeping any over about 23", but dammit...I just couldn't catch any small ones except one rat with 14 spots.

Here ya' go...

Think he was hungry?

Been abusing those redfish for over 25 years, sir. I used to get SO PISSED when Louisiana Sportsman would talk about Reggio. I always considered it my little secret back in the late 80s and 90s.

FWIW, I'll tell you I was NOT deep inside like I normally am. Too much damn grass inside. I will tell you I crossed (at least a part) of Lake Amadee. ;)

Nice haul!

Love Reggio. It's the only place I fish for the most part. Still pretty quiet.

I can tell where you were from the pics.

You were in your boat. Hahaha

I like that little skiff though. What do you have on back?

Came with a 15 hp Johnson. I have a 25 hp Johnson I'll probably put on it after I put the front deck on and the poling platform, but for now, it does 24 mph with me and my son in it. I'm shocked by that, personally. Guy told me it would do 23, I got 24 on GPS last Saturday with me and little man in it. Once I add some weight though, it'll probably do great with the 25. I need a few more MPH to hit my Biloxi Marsh spots from BSM. That little 15 is damn impressive, though. Took three trips on 3 gallons of fuel, still had a little in that tank before I switched to a 6 gallon tank Thursday!
