I like those critical defense bullets, I keep the Zmax (same thing just green) in my 9mm. I have the Federal hydrashocks in my .40

You need bigger drawers! :-)
I agree w/ those who have recommended a bigger gun for home defense. Selecting a self defense gun is a matter of crompromises. In general, shotguns>big bore handguns>small bore handguns. But, one can't always have a shotgun or big bore handgun. The best home defense gun will be a 12 gauge (although the 20 gauge is also very useful). My next choice would be a full size/service handgun. No need to go small in the home. Go small, e.g. a pocket 380 ACP, when circumstances require you to make that compromise. I pocket carry a 380 ACP, but only when circumstances prevent me from carrying a gun that's bigger (i.e. more reliable at stopping a fight).

What is in the mag well of your smith?
Do you always carry the CM with the extended mag?

It's an Ed Brown Maxiwell. It was about 70 bucks on midway. Works really well for fast mag changes!

Not sure what you're asking here but the magazines fit 10 rounds and I think that's a good round number. The 8 round magazines make things a bit confusing.

I have a Walther PPK in a corner table drawer. It's the only thing that will fit in the damn it.
