I like that 6 round revolver Ruger makes in this caliber. I am concerned about cost and availability of ammo.

Anybody have one?

Badass revolver round. Similar performance to a 9mm. +P.

327 is a nice round. It has more power than the 45 acp. It just below the 357 mag.

But it is a little snappy from the guns I have shot.

I don't have a 327 Magnum. if I were looking for one, I'd be VERY concerned about the long term viability of the round and ammo availability...

The way things are going, I think the only chance for the 327 Fed Mag to survive is to develop lightweight revolvers (preferably 7 or 8?? shots) aimed directly at the female self defense/concealed carry market.

Yea that's pretty much its only chance. I'm not sure why it isn't offered as a 7 shot in k-frame size guns and 8 shot in full size rigs. It would fit that roll well.

It looks pretty good on paper, but if I'm getting a L-frame 6 shooter, it's going to be at least a .357 mag.
