300 BLK Ammo Recommendations

I don't have a suppressor...yet. Still go subsonic rounds? For now using it for target practice & hogs.

When you hunt with .300blk, use supersonic. Use 110gr. Barnes VorTx. Really the only point of using subs is with a suppressor. They will be loud without one.

Subsonic is pointless without a can. Get some 110gr Barnes for hunting and 150gr anything for plinking

I have a can on mine with a SBR but 150s cycle just fine. I load my own. I don't remember how much powder but it was probably around 18 gr of accurate 5744

Does anyone think the Hornady sst 125gr would be effective on hogs? I like the Barnes 110gr black tips and have worked well on the 2 hogs I've shot w/ them but they are pricey.
