I wasn't going to, but I'm planning on going to the LSU game this weekend now. The weather is just terrible for Mississippi this weekend

Hunted opening weekend and then my weekends started getting filled up. I'm not upset that the weather sucks, since I can't make it for a couple weeks.

I'm using this as an investment. Killed 3 does in Oklahoma, chance at arrowing a buck in MS this weekend is about 0.5%.

I'm going to spend the weekend with the GF, tailgate, then hit the woods next weekend when the weather might be better lol

I'm supposed to be going as well and it looks miserable.

Who else is going to get out there Tuesday morning?!?!

Temperatures are going to be around 50 degrees in Opelousas Tuesday morning. I'm taking off work to get out there, especially with either-sex bow finally opening in Sherburne Monday. All I've seen is hogs so far.

Sounds like a better plan than sitting in this 68 degree humidity soup like I am right now.

But I'm up here. As long as the thermocell holds up and I don't have to shite.

Last Monday morning: thermocell was going on and off, and the need to shite overcame me. Crappy, humid weather...nah, I'm out boss.

I've come home twice now after being tore up by mosquitoes and told my wife I wasn't going back until it gets cold.

Well, I think I can wait until Tuesday...lol!

Been a little sticky, but worth it. Knocked a nanny down yesterday.

Well, just in case anyone was wondering 0.5% chance >> than 0% chance when you don't go

Dad went to the camp and hunted Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

Saturday evening: Some pigs came in and he stuck one (130#) and captured it on his Tactacam

Sunday morning: He heard some splashing in the creek and assumed the pigs were back, a minute later this guy steps out at 28 yards and he connected with a perfect shot

Nice buck hat...Don't know if I have ever seen a buck smile like that for the camera. LOL

Looks like we got us a cold front finally coming in today here in SC. Overnight lows down to 43. Think with the wind expected in the a.m. I am going to hold off until Wed. morning, but am looking forward to using my new shoulder to hopefully drag the 9 pt I missed last year out of the woods this season.

Time to "Get It ON!!!!

Great video and great buck. Congrats to your dad. I arrowed two hogs so far. My 9yo shot a doe this past Saturday with the rifle.
