2015 Ford F-150 master key code

a few questions.
Does programming a Ford truck break the master key code? I can't get mine to work anymore and when using the screen to type in the code the system says it isn't correct.
I only used the code a few times and can't remember if it was before or after I programmed. Also I can't find where the code is hidden in the truck on this model to double check by the slight chance I have the code written wrong on three pieces of paper.

Look in your owners manual.......there is a credit card type thing in there with the code on it.

I thought I had one of those as well and can't seem to find it. I'm in a similar situation to the OP.

Unfortunately I don't have the card. Guess the dealership lost it somehow

I think my code was somewhere up under the dash. I just had the dealership get the code when I went in for something

The MC never goes away, unless the module is replaced.
The dealership can give you the code, by using the VIN.
You'll have to go in person, usually.

If I remember correctly mine was etched under the dash somewhere.

Yeah, I didn't even bother looking because I thought it would be a PITA. No idea why they hide the door code so well. If someone wanted to get in, they'd probably just bust the window

My explorer had it under the dash

My 2013 is programmed and it didn't affect my door code

Ok. Good to know. Stumped to why the master I have written isn't working then. Next time I have time I guess I'll swing it into the dealership and let them hook it up and tell me.

On my 2013, if you use both sets of keys, one at a time turned to aux back to back it will display the code. I think the manual explains it.
