My step dad broke the seal for the year last night on a small 8pt behind his barn. I managed to get the tenderloin for helping so I'll head it for lunch and hope it bring me the spirit of the beast so I can get one soon

I feel ur pain. I've been getting several nice Bucks on Camera and Monday I let 6 Doe's walk hoping one of the bucks would present themselves. Been too pretty of a morning not to see anything. I left 2 16ozs in the stand last night. Bout to pop the top and hope for the best cause ima bust they're arse if I see them now.

Didn't hunt this morning. Had to wait out a dam home bound nurse. 
Then I have to head to New Orleans tomorrow morning for a doctor's appointment all day. They will NOT keep my arse this time no matter what!
I might try an afternoon hunt. Dam pigs are thick around were I been hunting deer. The other day, them suckers started cutting up big time about 50 yards away, but would never step out.

Someone told I had to get this guy cause he is probably an older deer with bad genes as far as developing fine antlers. This older buck will run off the other bucks and you will never have see a fine and well built rack. Is there any truth to this. I kind of dont believe it because I recently camera captured 2 fine 8 pts and a 6 pt.
