That's the white belly of this cull buck I've been chasing for 2 years. Still got a few confused fawns in the field so gonna stick it out for a few and see if anything else comes in.

One shot at shooting time rang out but woods have been silent today. Odd on a chilly morning

Calm
Platform stand between pines and oak flat

Yesterday evening was my first hunt where I didn't see at least 1. Looking to be the same kinda hunt this morning. Heard lots of very close shots yesterday and the county road passing my camp looked like a parade at 5:30 this morning of "brown it's down" hunters.

It's shaping up to be my first hunt this year seeing nothing. I have zero confidence in this stand.

I can't believe that. As I said before, that pile of rice brand has DOE written all over it.

Got in the stand about 7:30. Just me and mini me. I really hope I see something today. I need to shoot something to try and get rid of the anger over the O hire.

Anyone else not seeing shite lately? We hunted our asses off yesterday. Four hunters in the woods for a total of 8 hours each and saw four deer. Three of us this morning and have one yearling seen this far. I have only heard one shot this morning.
