If you were the president of this country, what would you say in light of the senseless violence in Dallas? We all know what Barry is going to do, but what would you do?

Tell everyone that the right to peacefully assemble is protected in the constitution, but anything more and you will get the book thrown at you.

All I'm going to say is:

I would start firing up passenger ships to cross the Atlantic.

Someone needs to try to unite the police with inner city communities. We need to look at the police as a group that is there to help us and keep the peace not to have citizens vs cops. Stop dividing; start uniting.

This

Our current one has never done this. In fact, he goes out of his way to exacerbate the problem.

That a senseless tragedy happened, and we will work with the proper authorities to determine what happened, why it happened, and better ways to be able to assemble peaceably, while maintaining the safety of our officers. That while we mourn the lives of those officers who were lost, we commend the bravery of the other officers, safety personnel, and citizens who came to aid.

It sounds boilerplate, and it should. But it still conveys the message that is most important, and cuts out the rhetoric.
