So my young(24 year old)warehouse assistant comes to me today for advice on a life situation.
He and his girlfriend had a falling out and she gets pregnant from a one stand. Dude who knocks her up wants nothing to do with his actions.
My employee tells me, "I'll raise the kid, adopt him as mine and marry this girl"
I told him he was fricking nuts.

he is out of his mind, i can't fathom any type of person that would raise a kid in situation like this that won't harbor negative feelings or resentment at some point.

It's going to be pretty awkward if he does marry her and adopt the baby after what you told him. Imagine if he ever tells her about... I hope you never have to see these people outside of work.

This. If she had a kid from a previous relationship, it's one thing to marry her and treat the kid as your own. But this situation, the kid will be a never ending reminder that his wife is an unfaithful slut. Dump her and move on.
