Would you take $150,000/yr to be a professional white person in China?

Watched an episode of VICE on HBO where white people are paid to do daily acting gigs because they are white. That's some crazy shite. I wouldn't move to China for even twice that amount but I wonder how many would?

I'm not much for acting but for 150k I'd give it a shot. You could live like as king there and still bank a bunch of money, then come back to the states with a full bank account.

Sure. Why not. I'd utilize my time over there studying under a Kung-Fu master.

It'd be worthwhile to do it for two years straight out of high school and then move back home and pay for college yourself. I wouldn't want to live there for very long, though, even in one of the big cities.

Is that a lot in China? I'd probably do it in Shanghai or Hong Kong. Beijing seems a little too dirty.

I watched that. The guy who played the doctor was an idiot.

I felt really bad for the Chinese people in that show. If I wouldn't feel guilty for it, I'd do it for a year or so. They get paid to party with rich Chinese kids. I could do that.

It would be interesting later in life explaining it on a résumé the two years in China as a professional honky.

In high school, I was good friends with an exchange student from Beijing. Living in China for a few years wouldn't be bad at all.

Twice in college I lived there for 3 months on an English teaching assignment and loved it. First year was in the southern town of Guiyang and the second was in Beijing. The Guizhou province in China is pretty amazing.

The proper plural is Penisii.

I've heard the roles for Westerners in Chinese cinema are stereotypically haughty, blundering boobs who get humbled in the end.

Sounds like Ole Miss fans?
